Welcome to The Holotable, where you can find everything you need to play Star Wars CCG online! Holotable and Holodeck provide the gameplay and deck building components, respectively, you need. Both are updated frequently, with user input having a major effect on what gets done. If you've been playing all along the lifespan of SWCCG, or if you're just getting (back) into the game, Holotable provides you the ability to play the game even when you don't have anyone around your area who plays anymore. Check out the links on the left to find out more, then go to the download page to find instructions on how to get started.

Holotable 0.9.2 (along with Holodeck 0.3.8) is now available from the automatic updater (downloads section files
to come soon).
Usability changes in Holotable include allowing multiple cards to be selected and pulled in pile search dialogs,
'target'ed cards temporarily highlight, and a popup for the tally command shows the number of cards in the stack.
This version fixes a problem with missed messaging from the opponent about manual card movements that occurred
immediately after shortcut/command key pile movement.
Holodeck received the ability to select (and manipulate) multiple cards in the deck list. This means you can add
copies of cards, delete copies of cards, and increment/decrement the number of starting copies for multiple cards
at once.

kryptofis has collected a number of decks from players to share with folks who might be returning to the game
and could use some beyond-the-basics decks to play with/learn from. Check the downloads page to get it.

Holotable 0.9.1 (along with Holodeck 0.3.7) is now available from the downloads section.
Usability changes in Holotable include the ability to cycle through fan spacings for a stack by using the Control
key in conjunction with the fan key and place cards under the starting cards pile using the , (comma) key.
Also fixed was a card context menu problem that resulted in cards "jumping" when clicking on the table to
cancel the menu.
Holodeck received the ability to increment/decrement the number of copies of a card marked as starting; this is done
using the 's' and 'r' keys, respectively. A bug that zeroed the starting card count when a previously-saved deck
was loaded has been fixed. The average destiny dialog was changed to provide information about the distribution
of each destiny (0-7 and other); this uses the cards in the deck not marked as starting, and cards with multiple
destiny numbers have the higher destiny used for the counts.

Holotable 0.9.0 (along with Holodeck 0.3.6) is now available from the downloads section.
Usability changes in Holotable include the addition of a graphic that temporarily appears over card piles when
any card is moved into them; this is much like the shuffle graphic and is intended to help users see where cards
are going, since the new GTK does not show card movement the same way as before. It also has the "suppress
shuffle" checkbox selected automatically for pile peeks.
The bug fixes are:
Holotable -
- fixed the large image/tooltip text popup issue where they would disappear whenever your opponent moved a card,
etc.
- fixed several card context menu items that resulted in cards being "stuck" to the mouse cursor
Holodeck
- fixed a bug where the deck list would revert to the unsorted (deck load order) state when a card was added to
the deck
- made large image popups work more consistently related to updating when a different card is selected (this is
not perfect, as it will do something a little off if the popup was the back side of a two-sided image)

Holotable 0.8.9 is now available from the downloads section.
GTK+ 2.12 is now required (make sure to uninstall your old GTK+ before installing). Messages were changed to
display the card name when a single card is moved from hand to table while face up. Added destiny number(s)
to the pile search display & verification dialog. The pile search display now shows card text in a tooltip
when the cursor moves over each row (also for verify dialog). Changed the tooltip mechanism for cards on
table/in hand; it should work the same as before, or maybe slightly better (upgrading to GTK+ 2.12 broke the
previous method of using tooltips). The "disable command keys" checkbox is cleared when the command window is
closed/hidden. Removed the suppress shuffle checkbox from the verification dialog. Added the ability to view
X number of cards from top of either Reserve Deck; when viewing your own cards, you can select one to draw into
hand and optionally suppress shuffling of the Reserve Deck afterwards. The phase/turn/status bar hidden status
is stored in the initialization file, so it will persist. Pile placement is now configurable in the options
dialog; it has always been configurable through the holotable.ini file itself, but now it is easier to set.
Holodeck 0.3.5 fixed a problem where it would crash if cards were added to a deck while the sort order
on the deck was not the default. Exporting a deck list to a text file now uses the current sort order of the
deck. When sorted by set or card type, headers are placed in the file indicating the set or card type,
respectively, for the group of cards that follow. There is a new menu item to allow the user to export the
deck list to a directory and filename of their choosing.

Holotable 0.8.8 is now available from the downloads section.
The main changes are several features to help people who are limited to smaller screen/table sizes to be able
to have a better experience. Users can detach the hand area (just like the detach chat/log feature that has
existed for a long time), hide the status and phase/turn bars, and cause auto-adjustment of the table size to
use the smallest dimensions instead of the largest. This last feature is intended to help players with small
table sizes be able to see everything that goes on on the table (one benefit of which is they can do more to
detect cheating attempts).
Additionally, the user can suppress the pile shuffle that happens after a search. The "lose Force to" command
now uses the correct card name when used with a two-sided card that has its "back" (second) side facing up.
